The Applied Computer Science study program is designed for future professionals to acquire deep knowledge of information technology and applied computer science. Alumni will be able to solve complex practical problems using programming, artificial intelligence, computer modeling, and data analysis.
The program is implemented as a joint initiative of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics and Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau within the international CoSMoS-NT project, supported by the DAAD program “Deutsch-Ukrainisches Hochschulnetzwerk (DUHN)” with the support of the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space.
The program is delivered in English, combines Ukrainian and European educational standards, and leads to a joint Bachelor’s degree. An important component is the opportunity to study in Germany during the 4th year, as well as to complete internships in leading European IT companies.
During the program, students can choose individual academic tracks in the fields of “Automation and AI” or “AI for Life Science and Medicine”.

Studies for Ukrainian citizens residing in the EU will be conducted online (except for the final year, which will take place in Wildau).
Ukrainian citizens are required to take the NMT. Information about the NMT, including instructions and a list of foreign institutions where it can be taken, as well as information on online military registration for male applicants, is available here:

To apply for admission, you need to complete the following steps:
Step 1. Successfully pass the NMT.
Step 2. Create an electronic account on the website https://vstup.edbo.gov.ua/ starting from 1 July.
Step 3. Submit your application for admission from 19 July until 6:00 p.m. on 1 August.
Step 4. Wait for the ranking list, which will be published no later than 6
August.
The ranking list of applicants will indicate those recommended for admission to state-funded places.
Step 5. Fulfil the requirements for admission to state-funded places by 6:00 p.m. on 11 August 2026.
Applicants who receive a recommendation for admission to state-funded places must confirm their choice of place of study in their electronic account by
6:00 p.m. on 11 August, using a qualified electronic signature (QES), or do so in person at
NURE.
